Sorry it's been a while. i wanted to update earlier but I've been really busy with homework and Mid-Terms exams that are this week and past week. However i succeeded uploading every pictures of New York that I wanted to put in the gallery. I'll make a resume soon in the article that i created (check in the earlier posts. I put here some pictures that i really like though. Take that as a "Previous" ^^. You can check them out in the "Full Story".
So what can i say. i really like Montreal. Not that i visited a lot yet, actually... We didn't visit anything yet. That sucks because i really wanted to go to the old town or to the planetarium or to the "Ronde", which is an attraction park. I think we are going to do that sometime soon, i hope !! What i like about here is... Everything. I don't know, it doesn't feel like in Paris. It's not the same. I can't really explain why. Maybe it's just in my head, just the fact that i'm out there, away from France for the first time and not for holidays.
OH ! I reallyyyy REALLY want to go to Niagara Falls. Oh god, that must be SO beautiful... If we go now,... we might be really cold too but whatever. It's something i have to do. (yes HAVE to ^^).

Bon pour ceux qui ne savaient pas, ces deux derniers jours (18 et 19 Septembre) c'était le jour de l'an juif.
Nous sommes passés en l'an 5770 (Eh oui ca en fait hein).
Normalement je fête le jour de l'an avec ma famille (une soir avec ma mère, un soir avec mon père). On mange de la Pkaella (un plat à base d'épinards), LE plat que j'attends toute l'année. Oui j'adore ça ^^.
Bref cette année comme je ne suis pas en France, j'ai décidé de le faire quand même, après tout le jour de l'an fait parti des fêtes les plus importantes dans l'année et jpeux pas rester un an sans pkaella ^^. J'ai du lutter dur dur pour trouver tous les ingrédients ! Et puis j'avais jamais fait ce plat toute seule aussi... J'avais un peu peur que les autres n'aiment pas parce que y a pas grand monde qui aime les épinards so... alors si en plus de ça je la rattais... Mmm. J'ai donc cuisiné pendant 4 jours ^^, j'avais préparé des Banataches (Pomme de terre avec du thon) au cas où ils n'aiment pas, bahh ils n'allaient pas rien manger quand même ^^.
La soirée c'est bien passée, étonnament ils ont tous (sauf samantha qui n'aime vraiment pas les épinards mais je lui pardonne^^) aimé ! Même nos voisins du dessous ^^. C'était vraiment sympa, j'ai beaucoup apprécié le fait que chacun goute au moins le plat et surtout qu'ils me laissent faire le jour de l'an et qu'ils le fassent avec moi.
Enfin j'ai pris des photos des plats, je les mettrais avec le reste des photos quand ça marchera hein ^^.

Well it's been now two weeks since the beginning of my courses, but i just wanted to tell you a little about it.
It was really impressive the first day we entered the university in order to work (yeah we've been there for our papers once before but we didn't see the classrooms). I didn't know what to expect because the buildings are spread over like five or six or even more streets. It wasn't like a campus i could imagine so. But when we got into the corridors and we could see the rooms... The classrooms were exactly as in One Tree Hill or in another American TV Show/Movie. It was Awesome with a big A. Currently... I haven't had class in one of those classrooms yet... But i really hope that i'll have. The only Tutorial class i had was in a 'normal' classroom like in France... I was a little disappointed but... what can i do ^^.
The first Lecture was a little hard. Surprisingly it was not because of the course which was electronics, but because of the english accent of the teacher. He is Indian so i had to concentrate more. But now it's quite okay, i understand better and better... It's the electronics i have more difficulties with ^^.
It's quite awesome to have all our courses in english. I so wanted to have that that i thought i was gonna be disappointed by all this, but the fact of the matter is... I really enjoy it. Even if i don't like all the courses, the fact that they are in english erase all that. It's weird and maybe stupid but...
OH! We also have REAL english courses (not too early...) with things i like to do. We do writing in english. Oh god, it's been so long since we did something like that in english!!!!
What else can i say?
Well we have some (a lot) of work to do. That sucks a little but we're not here to have fun (or not supposed to ^^)...
Mmm I'll upload pictures when internet will want to work correctly (i still haven't succeded uploading NYC pictures, but whatever...).
I have some things to do so i'll leave you now :).

Hey guysss.
i'm back from NYC and i have some time to write something here so that's what i'm doing right now^^.
Oh god, i don't know where to start, there are so many things i have to say. Mmm Well, i'll start with the begginning. (Logical...)

The day we arrive we had so many things to do. The flight was cool, except that i was a little sick, and when the landing arrived, the pilot did something very weird.... in fact, the plane touched the ground but went back to the air, and then, we did like a wave from right to left. It was scary, a little funny (i thing it was nervous laughts^^), but whatever, we're fine. Then, we waited for my cousin to pick us up. In fact, my aunt pick two of us up while three others were waiting for the last one to arrive. While they were at the airport, we went to pick the keys up. After one hour and a half of negociations and explanations with the agence, we finally got the keys. It's really strange to rent a flat here, because it's not the same way of working. In France we check the place with someone from the agence, but here, if we see something wrong in the place, we have to tell the agence by ourselves. We are way more independants and responsibles for the place. (Mmm i don't know if i said what i really wanted to say ^^, whatever).

Unfortunately we couldn't have the two appartment the day we arrive and the owner didn't want the six of us to sleep in one. So three of us had to go to an hotel for few nights. Our appartment is like 30 minutes from the city center, it's not very long but we have a little 'hill' when we come home. it's a little annoying but i guess we are going to be used to it.

The first night we visited a little Montreal with the hope to find something to eat ^^. It's a nice city actually. I found that it was a mixed of San Fransisco and New York (even if i never went to SF ^^), because streets are very squared and some of them goes up and some goes down. I really like it. It is soo great to be here, to speak in english, to ear english, to see another country. I've never been to Canada before and since like five years i really wanted to go there. Now i'm here, i'm not disapointed at all for the moment.

The first real day in the city was for doing all the formalities we needed to do. Like our student id cards, our insurance papers, our metro card. Well we succeded for the student id and the insurance. But the metro card.... There was so much waiting time for doing it! That's one thing i don't really understand. We have to wait one hour for everything. We take a ticket with a number and we wait. Even in our own school. In France it's not like that everywhere. In some places (like administration places) but not in our school for example^^. The same day we decided to take our bus tickets for New York City. We will go the day after... That was so exciting.

i'm going crazy !
Canada is so near, but so far at the same time. There's just four days left... So many things to do. My luggages are nearly closed, i have to close them tomorrow actually. I have to see some friends and family too before the big departure. It's kinda funny because this year, we are quite a lot to go away for studies. i mean, around me.
Oh i also got my wisdom teeth (the four!!) pulled out today (yesterday actually^^). i was really scared... but i think it went ok. they don't really hurt for now.

Hey guys!

I almost finished the modifications of the stylesheets (thanks "refuted" for the basys). it's not perfect but it will do as for the first. it is also my first livejournal so i'm discorvering how does it work! If you have any advice, feel free to tell :). I'm french so i'll try to speak my best english. that would be like a training^^.

A trip to Canada for studies requires preparation. We already have our flat (i'm going there with friends) but we can't have it the day we will arrive. That's why we need to organise, find a hotel... More over, we'd like to go to NYC!

This was just a first post to present myself if I can say it like that. Also, every pictures or images (ljicons, wallpapers, etc) that i'll post here will be made by me, except when i'll say it of course.
